Today, realme finally launched the realme GT 2 Pro and not surprisingly, the phone will be on sale in Malaysia on 25 March 2022. At the price of RM2999, there will be some promotion sales and exclusive bundles for realme fans. But first, let's talk about the tech specs and features.
For starters, the realme GT 2 Pro is the world's first 2K AMOLED Flat Display with LTPO 2.0 Technology. Adopting a 6.7-inch E4 AMOLED, it supports over 4.5 million pixels and has a Super Reality Display technology. realme said that this technology has a colour performance of 10-bit colour depth, up to 1.07 billion colours in total and delivers 64 times more colour information than a typical 8-bit display. Furthermore, it can reach a peak outdoor brightness of 1400 nits.
Of course, the display can also adjust the refresh rate between 1 to 120Hz. Complemented with GT mode 3.0, the GT 2 Pro also offers users 1,000Hz instant touch sampling which is the highest ever (seems quite overkill). Another expected tech spec is none other than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Our local set will be 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
On top of that, realme is proud to announce that the realme GT 2 Pro's body was built with an industry-first, eco-friendly, bio-based polymer on the rear cover to create a premium paper texture. A Paper Tech Master Design concept by world-renowned designer Naoto Fukasawa, the rear shell of the phone is made out of SABIC’s LNP ELCRIN bio-based copolymer material. It is certificated by ISCC+ which provide up to 39% CO2 reduction.
Moving on to the other features, another world's first is featuring a 50MP 150° Ultra-Wide Camera (with Fish Eye Mode) and a 40x Micro-Lens Camera. The primary camera is 50MP using an IMAX766 sensor with PDAF and OIS. On the other hand, the Micro-Lens allows you to take a zoomed-in shot with improved depth of field effects. The battery pack is 5000mAh supporting 65W SuperDart Charge Enhanced technology that can fully charge the phone in around 33 minutes.
Coming into the Malaysian market in black and white, the realme GT 2 Pro will be on sale from 25-31 March 2022 at realme Malaysia’s Official Online Store on Shopee at a promotional sale at RM2599, with free realme Buds 2 NEO (yup, that's two rounds, while stocks last). Then on 26-27 March 2022 at realme Malaysia’s Authorised Stores at RM2999 with free realme Watch 2 Pro and an extended warranty (while stocks last).
