Recently, realme announced some features for its upcoming realme GT5 smartphone. It'll be the next realme phone to feature the ridiculous 240W fast charging speed. Now, the company has confirmed that the phone will launch pretty soon.

On the realme Weibo page, it was revealed that the realme GT5 and realme Buds Air 5 will launch on 28 August 2023. The realme GT5 is a flagship Android smartphone and should sport the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It's also expected to have 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and will support 240W of fast charging. Not much else has been confirmed, but realme has been hinting at 1TB of storage for the phone in one of its recent Weibo posts.

Could the realme GT5 (or the Pro variant) come with 1TB storage?

As for the realme Buds Air 5, it's likely a lite version of the realme Buds Air 5 Pro launched last month. realme has announced that this new pair of TWS earbuds support active noise cancellation. It can reduce noise levels of up to 50dB, making it similar to its Pro counterpart. Unlike the Pro model, which came in beige and black colours, the realme Buds Air 5 will arrive in white and dark blue colours. Other details have not been revealed, but more info should be announced within this week.

Honestly, we don't know if realme Malaysia would launch these two devices here. While some GT series models like the realme GT2 Pro was launched in Malaysia, the realme GT3 never made its way here. We'll have to wait and see what happens, but until then, stay tuned to TechNave for more news on the latest mobile gadgets.
