Around two weeks ago, we wrote a piece of news that there was an 11-year old Malaysian kid who became a Shopee seller. As it turned out, he was trying to earn some profit to not only get himself a phone but also for his siblings for online classes. Looks like he finally got his reward but in an unexpected way as realme Malaysia sent him a new realme phone.

We don't know when did realme Malaysia approached Umar (the kid) and his family, we do know that he was given a free realme 8 Pro phone as a gesture of goodwill. Obviously, Umar's family was happy and his father expressed his gratitude to the company for reaching out and sponsoring a new phone. Umar first gained interest in online shopping after hearing a conversation between his father and a friend about the topic.

According to Tiffany Teh, Brand Director of realme Malaysia, she said that she and the company were touched by Umar's dedication and took the initiative to help out. They hope by this effort, it will ease his concern in joining online classes along with his siblings. realme Malaysia (and TechNave too) wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

Just a quick recap, the realme 8 Pro is sporting a 108MP Ultra Quad Camera module, a 4500mAh battery with 50W SuperDart Charge technology, a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED FullScreen and more. The phone also comes in either Infinite Blue or Infinite Black, which Umar got the latter. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
