realme Malaysia has today announced that it will be bringing the realme Pad Mini into our shores, with a launch date set on 20 April 2022. In a Facebook post today, the Chinese tech company revealed that the launch will be live on its official Facebook page at 2pm on 20 April.

The Pad Mini was released as a Philippines-only exclusive earlier this month, starting from ~RM815. Essentially a smaller version of the realme Pad, the Pad Mini is powered by a Unisoc Tiger T606 SoC with up to 4GB of RAM.

Besides that, the Pad Mini also sports an 8.7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1340x800. Furthermore, its 6400mAh battery supports 18W quick charging.

The Pad Mini include support for up to 1TB of expandable storage, its weigh of only 372g and its thickness of only 7.6mm. The tablet also has an aluminium alloy body design that comes in either grey or blue.

However, it is unsure whether Malaysia will have the same Pad Mini variants as the Philippines or what the price points will be in our country. Well, let’s wait until 20 April to find out, shall we?
