After teasing its arrival onto our shores earlier this month, realme has finally released the realme Pad X 5G in Malaysia today. The tablet sports a 10.95-inch WUXGA LCD screen with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels, 16.7 million colours, 450 nits brightness and an 84.6 per cent screen-to-body ratio.
Besides that, the display also features DC Dimming and a TÜV Rheinland-certified hardware-level blue light filter. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC alongside an 8340mAh which supports 33W fast charging.
Furthermore, the tablet supports stylus input as well. The official 'realme Pencil' stylus accessory offers 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and a 240Hz sampling rate and charges magnetically on the side of the device. There's also the official 'realme Smart Keyboard' accessory with a 1.3mm key travel.
In terms of imaging, the Pad X 5G has a 13MP rear camera complemented by an 8MP selfie camera with 108 degrees field-of-view and Limelight at its front. In our country, the tablet is only offered at a singular 6/128GB variant, but do note that it supports up to 5GB virtual RAM and 512GB microSD storage expansion.
Other notable specs include Dolby Atmos-supported quad speakers, a MicroSD card slot, 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.1 and a USB Type-C port. The Pad X 5G is offered in either Glowing Grey or Glacier Blue colour options and is priced at RM1699 in our country.
If you’re interested in purchasing the tablet, realme is offering the Pad X 5G at a discounted price of RM1399 from now until 25 August 2022 as well as get one year extended warranty for free. You better hurry up though as it’s only applicable to the first 300 units and can only be purchased via the realme Official Store on Shopee.
