Yesterday, we reported on realme’s upcoming new Q-series smartphone the realme Q3s will be launching soon this coming October. Today, we got another confirmation from the company’s Global VP Wang Wei Derek posted on his Weibo highlighting there will be another phone named realme Q5.

According to Derek, the upcoming realme Q5 and Q3s will be powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset, while the one that appeared on TEENA certification recently with the model number RMX3357 has a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. So we are assuming it is one of the Q-series smartphones as well. It features a 6.43-inch OLED display with a 65W fast charging support.

So if realme Q5 is launching soon, it will certainly come with different variants. One of them will sport an LCD FHD+ display with high refresh rates and a Snapdragon 778G chipset while the other variant will be powered by the Dimensity 1200 chipset. It may come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage with a large 5000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging.

As of now, there is still no official information on the tech specs and launching date for it yet, so do take this with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for more tech news updates on TechNave.com
