So, the vivo NEX - finally a flagship tier smartphone that has landed in the Malaysia market for just RM2799 and you might heard and seen some promotion about the camera it carries, being able to produce quality photos and no, we're not talking about the special Elevating 8MP Front Camera, but its dual rear camera setup behind.

To start off, the main 12MP camera is using a Sony IMX363 lens (6P grade + sapphire crystal surface), 1.4μm super large pixel sensors, an aperture of f/1.8, 4-axis optical image stabilization (OIS), electronic image stabilization (EIS) and of course, Dual Pixel technology (which we talked about before here) as well as having a wider dynamic range of 11.3eV that offers greater exposure latitude anywhere. Better yet, with the P3 colour gamut integrated inside the phone, so as the AI scene recognition that will adjust accordingly to the subject or environment.

Anyway, enough talk - here are some pictures shot by vivo Malaysia's exclusive photographer, Gradient Lok (we are not making this up, that's really his name).

Pictures look amazing, don't they? This is also made possible due to the Smart Frame Selection technology. According to vivo, this technology can decide the number of frames to use to combine a photo from different scenarios of the same shot. Even though that's the case, the phone won't be slowed down by that as the shooting speed is fast enough thanks to the software and processor inside.
