The vivo X50 series of smartphones launched yesterday and you could tell that one of its main selling points was the camera. But the top-end vivo X50 Pro+ also emphasises on audio with Hi-Res Audio support, so it wasn't a surprise to see the launch of the new vivo TWS Neo too.

According to vivo, the vivo TWS Neo has 14.2mm drivers. Typically, earphones tend to use 9mm drivers so a 14.2mm one should be able to output higher volume and audio quality. It comes with the DeepX Stereo that gives you three different audio profiles of ultra-low bass, clear voice, and high treble.

It also supports Bluetooth 5.2 and uses Qualcomm's aptX Adaptive, which is supposed to help deliver CD-level audio quality. aptX Adaptive also has lower audio latencies (as low as 88ms), ensuring that your audio and video will stay synced. If you've used Bluetooth earphones, you'll know that this can be a problem when watching videos or playing games. The vivo TWS Neo has up to 5.5 hours of playback time on standard AAC mode or 27 hours with the charging case.

Considering its retail price of 499 yuan (~RM301), the vivo TWS Neo looks like a great deal if you're looking for a pair of TWS earbuds. But with that said, what do you think about it?
