vivo Malaysia released the vivo V25 Series for our local market today, which includes the vivo V25 5G as well as the vivo V25e. You can check out our coverage of the former here as this article will mainly focus on the V25e.
Under the hood, the V25e packs a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM. There is also an option to add up to 4GB of virtual RAM which utilises the device’s storage. Speaking of which, the V25e is offered in a singular 256GB storage option.
As for the display, the device sports a 6.44-inch 90Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of 2404 x 1080 pixels. Like the V25, the V25’s display also has a water drop notch which houses a 32MP selfie camera. At its rear, the device has a 64MP main + 2MP depth + 2MP macro triple-camera setup.
The battery wattage is also the same as the V25 at 4500mAh and supports 44W FlashCharge fast charging. However, unlike its sibling, the V25e doesn’t support 5G connectivity.
Other notable specs include a microSD card slot (up to 1TB), Android 12 OS via Funtouch OS 12, dual-SIM, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C, NFC and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The device is offered in either Diamond Black or Sunrise Gold colour options with vivo's Color Changing feature only available for the latter.
In Malaysia, the V25e is priced at RM1399 and can be purchased at all vivo concept stores, authorised dealers, vivo Malaysia’s official E-Store, and vivo Malaysia’s official flagship stores on Shopee and Lazada. Furthermore, from now until 2 September 2022, customers who purchase the vivo V25e are also entitled to free gifts worth RM547, which includes a V25e premium box Bluetooth speaker and V25 umbrella worth RM99, 1-year extended warranty worth RM199 and 1-year screen crack protection worth RM249.
