vivo V27 and V27 Pro release: MediaTek 8200 SoC, 50MP main camera and 120Hz AMOLED from ~RM 1784

vivo today announced its latest midrange smartphone offerings for the global market, the vivo V27, V27 Pro and V27e. The V27e launched in Malaysia today, while the V27 and V27 Pro that this article is focusing on have only been released in other markets.

According to the official vivo global website, the V27 Pro and V27e share mostly similar specs. The only differences are the processors under the hood, with the Pro model getting a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC while the Dimensity 7200 is powering the vanilla variant.

Both smartphones feature the same 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution.  As for the cameras, both devices sport a 50MP main camera (Sony IMX766V) + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro triple-camera setup at their rears. 

As for the selfie camera, both smartphones have a whopping 50MP camera with AF. They also feature the same 4600mAh battery with 66W fast charging via USB-C. 

Other notable V27 and V27 Pro specs include Android 13 via Funtouch OS 13, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G connectivity and dual SIM. The V27 is offered in Magic Blue (which changes hue under UV light), Noble Black, Emerald Green, and Flowing Gold, while the V27 Pro is offered in Magic Blue and Noble Black. 

In the global market, the V27 is offered in either 8/256GB or 12/256GB configurations starting at USD399 or ~RM1785. Meanwhile, the V27 Pro starts at USD459 or ~RM2052 and comes in either 8/128GB, 8/256GB or 12/256GB configurations.
