Last month, it was predicted that the vivo V70 series would launch before or after CNY. That's exactly what happened, as vivo Malaysia announced the availability of the vivo V70 for RM 1,999. Below are the details of vivo's latest camera-focused smartphone.
Tech specs and features
The vivo V70 comes with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, which is also the chipset used in last year's vivo V60. Additionally, the phone has up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The battery is a respectable 6500mAh BlueVolt Battery and supports 90W FlashCharge.

Speaking of cameras, this is where the vivo V70 delivers a notable upgrade. Unlike its predecessor, the vivo V70 features not two but three rear cameras. Besides the 50MP main camera and 8MP ultra-wide camera, the vivo V70 has a 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera for better zoom shots. In fact, this telephoto camera is powered by a pro-grade 1/1.95-inch ultra-sensing sensor that delivers up to 10x zoom. It also comes with optical image stabilisation, so no more worries of blurry zoom photos.
For the display, vivo decided to go for a slightly smaller one compared to last year's model. The vivo V70 features a 6.59-inch 1.5K Ultra Clear OLED Display that has a 120Hz refresh rate, plus ultra-slim bezels for a sleeker build and better visual immersion.

The vivo V70's software is OriginOS 6, which has a new Origin Smooth Engine for a smoother look and feel. It also has features like Origin Island, a dynamic capsule-like section at the top of the screen to show different information (basically vivo's version of Apple's Dynamic Island). Of course, OriginOS 6 also comes with AI-powered tools for productivity and the camera app, such as AI Search, AI Creation, AI Erase, and more.
Price and colour options
Like the other vivo V series smartphones, the vivo V70 is for those who want a stylish phone with good cameras. The vivo V70 not only features a sleek Authentic Black colour, but it also comes in Alpine Grey and Golden Hour colours. It's available in Malaysia in three configurations, with the prices as follows:
- 8GB+256GB - RM 1,999
- 12GB+256GB - RM 2,199
- 12GB+512GB - RM 2,599
By the way, vivo Malaysia is offering a pre-order deal for the vivo V70 from now till 13 March 2026. There will also be a sales promo from 14 to 30 March 2026. If you're interested, visit the vivo Malaysia website for more details.
