It looks like vivo will not be launching just one folding smartphone for the first time. According to new certification found in China, the company is preparing to present two of them, namely vivo X Fold and X Note. Although we've already heard some news about the devices, it's still exciting to know they are getting certified as it means they are very near to us.
Besides that, the source also mentions that the X Note will be a larger device among the two. Earlier, the tech specs of the X Fold appeared by telling us that it would get an 8-inch 120Hz LTPO display. Therefore, we can expect the X Note to be larger than that. Besides that, the X Fold is also said to feature UTG glass and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, becoming the first foldable smartphone to have such a fingerprint scanner.
It's still unsure if these two will make a debut together. However, previous rumours suggested the launch date could fall in April. Not only folding smartphones, but the company will also be launching vivo X80 Pro and X80 Pro+ soon. We can say that 2022 is an exciting year for vivo.
