After sharing a first look at the vivo X Fold and its specs last week, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has done one better today by leaking alleged schematics of vivo's first foldable phone. True to the leakster’s previous claims, the schematics shows that the phone will feature a quad-camera setup.

A further look at the alleged X Fold’s schematics also reveals a punch-hole camera on the cover screen of the foldable. Furthermore, it is also consistent with Digital Chat Station’s previous claim that the X Fold will adopt the same form factor of the Xiaomi Mi Mix FoldSamsung Galaxy Z FoldHuawei Mate X2 and Oppo Find N.

The schematics, which was shared on Chinese social media platform Weibo, also pretty much confirms that the device will fold horizontally. Therefore, just like the devices mentioned above, the X Fold will have a tall narrow external display as the ‘cover display’ and a main screen that will be tucked inside when closed.

Digital Chat Station previously claimed that the X Fold will come with a QHD+ display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and a 4600mAh battery that supports up to 50W wireless charging.

As for cameras, the X Fold is poised to feature a quad camera setup at its rear that includes a 50MP primary camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. It will also allegedly sport ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanners under both of its displays.
