The vivo X100 series officially launched in Malaysia last week. But although it's called a series, the other models have yet to be released. We already know there will be a vivo X100 Pro and a vivo X100 Pro+ from previous reports, each featuring more advanced camera hardware. Now, we have some updates on the latter.

According to Digital Chat Station, a phone with a 200MP periscope camera is in the works. It features a 1/1.5" sensor, up to 10x optical and 200x digital zoom. Comments in the post suggest the phone is the vivo X100 Pro+, which differs from the non-plus variant through this upgraded telephoto lens. It's also expected to have a better ultra-wide angle camera.

Besides the cameras, we can expect the Pro models to sport a different chipset - the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It's also believed that the vivo X100 Pro+ will have a 6.78-inch curved OLED display with a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, a 5400mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, as well as Android 14 support (OriginOS 4).

As for the launch date, sources claim that the phone will launch within the first half of 2024. That's a wide launch window, but we can probably expect to see it during MWC 2024 or in Q2 2024. Until then, stay tuned to TechNave for further news!
