So we have already talked about the vivo X21 Dual Pixel sensors (which you can read about it here), what else is there to say about its camera capabilities? Well, vivo Malaysia wants you to know that the device has a lot of AI-powered features such as the AI Face Beauty, AI HDR, AI Face Unlock and a P3 Gamut which means it's capable of producing quite colourful and vivid photos.
Comparing with other smartphones, the company said that the technology increases the colour richness by 120% and that's higher than some SRGB colour gamut used in high-end devices. Moreover, the AI HDR is back once again making its appearance on the upcoming in-display phone, providing users with good colour display despite having a strong backlight which we talk about from the vivo V9. To combining this technology with the P3 colour gamut and a large aperture, nothing is too overexposed or dark for the X21.
AI Face Beauty with AI HDR mode on
Speaking of the camera system, the AI Face Beauty is back as well. Similarly to the AI HDR, the AI Face Beauty is capable of getting rid of the backlight and retains the subject's facial feature naturally, beautifully and bright. This also applies to the AI Face Access that uses an intelligent algorithm to scan your 3D facial features with an infrared light to allow for night-time access.
By the way, the V9 is currently selling at RM1320 in pearl black, gold, velvet red and sapphire blue (limited edition, while stock last) at all vivo Concept Stores and other dealers across Malaysia. It's a good price to pass by.
