Last month, vivo launched its new X60 series smartphones in China. At the time, the vivo X60 and vivo X60 Pro were released with the Exynos 1080 chipset. But now there's a leak by Chinese retailer JD of the vivo X60 Pro+, which may come with the Snapdragon 888 chipset.

In one of the leaked images, we see the logo for a Snapdragon 800 series chipset. Considering the specs of the other two variants, it will most likely be the Snapdragon 888 chipset. The next part shows the main camera, which we think will get a bump in resolution (maybe to 64MP). The last one is honestly quite vague. It's either a ZEISS lens due to the '*' symbol, or a speaker since the X60 series has a Hi-Fi audio chipset.

Some of the specs should be the same as the vivo X60 Pro

On the topic of specs, we can expect the vivo X60 Pro+ to have similar specs to the vivo X60 Pro. It's expected to have 12GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a 4200mAh battery. Besides that, it should have a 6.56-inch (maybe larger) AMOLED display with 120Hz of refresh rate, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and 5G connectivity.

The teaser claims that the phone will be available in late January 2021, so we'll keep an eye out for updates on that. Until then, stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news on the latest smartphone reveals.
