Although it's only a few days to go until 2021, smartphone manufacturers are still working hard to launch their latest smartphones before the year ends. After Xiaomi presented the Mi 11 series yesterday, it's now vivo's turn to introduce the X60 series. Let's find out what are the tech specs and features that the series has for the market!

The series has brought two devices that are the vivo X60 and X60 Pro. Both of them are powered by Samsung's 5nm Exynos 1080 chipset paired with ARM's latest CPU architecture Cortex-A78 and the latest GPU architecture Mali-G78. The series also sports a 6.56-inch AMOLED panel that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, there is a 4300mAh battery for the vanilla X60 and 4200mAh for the Pro variant, both come with 33W fast charging support.

For photography, the X60 is equipped with a triple-camera setup that is built with a 48MP main IMX598 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13MP telephoto lens. Meanwhile, the X60 Pro comes with an extra 8MP periscope ultra-telephoto lens that supports up to 5x zoom. This time, vivo has also collaborated with Zeiss for the imaging system and introduces the Biotar portrait mode that makes sure the central figure is clear, while the out-of-focus blur presents a vortex surreal portrait photography effect.

The entire X60 series has inherited the five-axis VIS (Vibrational Image Stabilization) video anti-shake technology from the X50 Pro as well. The "X-axis rotation + Y-axis rotation" micro-head anti-shake, plus "X-axis translation + Y-axis translation + The "Z-axis rotation" electronic image stabilization realizes the X/Y/YAW/PITCH/ROLL "five-axis video stabilization" effect. Combined with the algorithm upgrade, users can get a stable video shooting experience in various scenes.
