Back in December 2020, vivo launched the X60 series in China before it arrived in Malaysia in March 2021. It hasn't been that long since, but the company is already planning to launch the vivo X70 series. That's right, the new series may launch before a year has even gone by.

According to Gizmochina, the vivo X70 series will be launching in September 2021 in India. It's part of a sponsorship deal with the Indian Premier League. The league should be resuming sometime in September to October 2021, hence the rumoured launch window. Besides that, no other details were given.

Surprisingly, the source suggests that there won't be any significant improvements in specs. In China, the vivo X60 and X60 Pro launched with the Exynos 1080 chipset but used the Snapdragon 870 in other regions. As for the more powerful X60 Pro+, it came with the Snapdragon 888 chipset. Of course, we're still expecting to see some form of upgrades, especially in terms of the camera and software.

However, we don't have any solid news on the phone yet, so take the news with a grain of salt. With that said, what do you think about a new vivo X series coming so soon? Would you be interested to upgrade? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates about this.
