Back in January 2022, tech specs for the vivo X80 Pro+ were leaked online. It was rumoured that the device would sport a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. But in true vivo fashion, the other models in the vivo X80 series could feature different chipsets.
According to @Shadow_Leak, the vivo X80 Pro would come with a Dimensity 9000 chipset instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. In addition, it would have 6GB/8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The main camera would be the same 50MP Sony IMX789 sensor, but the ultrawide camera would be a 12MP sensor instead of 48MP. Moreover, the front camera would be 32MP rather than 44MP. Overall, it's a notable downgrade from the vivo X80+ Pro.

Interestingly, most of the info leaked matches the rumour from November 2021. At the time, it was suggested that the phone would feature the Dimensity 2000 chipset. That was the tentative name for then-unreleased Dimensity 9000. The rumour also claimed that the front camera would be using an under-display camera. Having said that, unofficial renders have so far shown a punch-hole for the display.
We can't confirm if it's 100% accurate, so take it with a grain of salt. But what do you think about these specs, interested in the vivo X80 Pro? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news about it.
