The vivo X90 series is expected to arrive by the end of the year. Although the news came saying the devices would be announced on 24 October, it didn't happen. Now, we could only wait until the brand tells us the date. Before that, one of the devices from the series had more of its details leaked today. The vivo X90 Pro+ is said to have a powerful camera and chipset.

According to the source, the vivo X90 Pro+ will feature a 50MP 1-inch Sony IMX989V sensor. The 'V' could stand for the sensor is customized for vivo. Meanwhile, unlike the standard vivo X90, the X90 Pro+ will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 instead of MediaTek's Dimensity chip.

Furthermore, the device will feature a 6.78-inch curved Samsung E6 AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There could also be a 1440Hz high-frequency eye protection dimming chip, and it will be an LTPO panel as well. Earlier reports suggested that LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage are included. Flagship smartphones only use LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage nowadays, so vivo X90 Pro+ is taking a big step forward.
