It's been months since the vivo X90 series launched, but it seems like we've not seen the end of it. It's believed that there could be a third model - the vivo X90s - in the coming weeks. And this rumour could be real, as details start surfacing.

According to Digital Chat Station (via SeekDevice), the vivo X90s will feature the upcoming Dimensity 9200+ chipset. This chipset is expected to have a Cortex-X3 core with a top CPU clock of 3.35GHz. For comparison, the standard Dimensity 9200 launched in November 2022 clocks up to 3.05GHz. In other words, just think of the Plus variant as an overclocked version.

Besides the chipset, the vivo X90s is expected to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 2160Hz touch sampling rate. It's also expected to come with a 50MP main camera (Sony IMX886V sensor), 120W fast charging, vivo V2 ISP chip, and more. Lastly, there should also be a single front camera on the curved display.

For your info, MediaTek is set to launch the Dimensity 9200+ on 10 May 2023. As such, we can expect the new vivo X90s to be unveiled on the same day. We don't know if vivo plans to release the device here, but we'll keep an eye out for updates about it. In the meantime, stay tuned to TechNave for more news on the latest smartphones!
