After launching the vivo Y29 in India in December 2024, the Chinese tech firm has confirmed that the mid-range smartphone is coming to Malaysia soon. It’s not launching in our country alone, too, as it’ll be released alongside the vivo Y39.
Taking to its official Facebook page, vivo Malaysia announced that both devices will debut for the local market on 27 February. The post also includes a teaser poster for the launch, which reveals the back designs of both smartphones.
Of course, their specs and designs won’t be much of a surprise as they’re already launched in other markets. The Y29 features a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, a 5500mAh battery, 44W charging, a 6.68-inch 120Hz LCD and a 50MP main camera.
Meanwhile, the Y39 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, a 6500mAh battery, 44W charging, a 6.88-inch LCD and a 50Mp main camera. For the official prices in Malaysia, we just have to wait until 27 February, so until then, stay tuned to TechNave for more trending tech news.
