As you can guess, DSP was developed for photography purposes to solve lighting conditions in an image. Theoretically speaking, the chip will automatically adjust the brightness of the image with the correct exposure, reducing noise for night scene mode, and even improve the Face Beauty mode. Moreover, the chip allows the user to take images in RAW format, with an option to export it into a JPG format by the ISP.

Moving on, the customised DAC decoding chip is a new solution by vivo to focus on improving SNR, dynamic range, distortion, and output power. According to vivo, they claimed that the new technology has twice the output amplitude of normal smartphones. Additionally, they are also manufacturing a headphone amplifier to utilise this technology for the user’s audio experience.

So what do you think of vivo’s upcoming technologies so far? Impressive? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more vivo news at TechNave.com.
