If you’re onto computers, virtual RAM is not something new on PCs and now it is finally reaching smartphones. The first smartphone brand who did it was vivo, bringing an extended RAM feature on its OriginOS and migrated to the FuntouchOS 11.  Today, we got a report that Xiaomi's Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G will be the first Xiaomi smartphone to get an extended RAM feature update.

Earlier, it was reported that Xiaomi will be one of the first to debut a smartphone with a 200MP camera. Now, the news has come saying that the Chinese tech company will use Samsung's unannounced 200MP sensor. Back in 2019, Xiaomi also launched the CC9 Pro which was the first to come with Samsung's 108MP camera sensor.

During the MWC 2021, not only announcing the One UI Watch and five years of updates for some devices, but Samsung has also stated that more upcoming smartphones will get S Pen support. It is not that surprising as the firm has already done it with the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Believe it or not, Apple is making some of its employees wear a police-grade body cam to prevent them from leaking the company's hardware secrets. It is reported that the tech giant has been executing this dramatic measure for at least the last few weeks. 

When it comes to software updates, most Android phones would only have a year max. Fortunately, Samsung Galaxy phones are quite consistent and Samsung just announced there will be five years of Android security patches on selected Galaxy phones.

Last week, Microsoft released a set of tech specs requirements for your laptop or PC to be eligible for the Windows 11 upgrade. Not only that, they sent us a PC Health Check app for that too but it seems that they are temporarily removing the app due to the feedback from users.

A few weeks ago, it was rumoured that Xiaomi was ready to launch the Mi Pad 5 tablet. The new model is expected to sport a few improvements like a 120Hz display. But it seems that even before this model is out, Xiaomi has already begun working on a successor.

For many users, the announcement of Windows 11 may or may not be exciting. But if you're in the macOS camp, you probably more excited about the new macOS announced at WWDC. Not a problem, Apple isn't about to lose out and has been hosting beta tests for the macOS Monterey.

Windows 11 was one of the highlights last week but the beta is not ready yet. According to Microsoft, the public beta will only be ready next month but if you are part of the Windows Insiders program, the Windows 11 preview build (22000.51) is rolling out now.
