With not that much beating around the bush, Android 9 P has just gone official as Android 9 Pie. The update should be rolling out to Pixel phones from today while brands who have participated in the Beta program like Sony Mobile, Xiaomi, HMD Global, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus and Essential along with Android One devices will get the update by the end of fall (September?). Other brands like Huawei and ASUS have rather pointedly not been mentioned but we expect these companies to come out with Android 9 Pie updates a month or so after September 9 (or at least within this year).

ASUS has recently announced the arrival of the ASUS TUF Gaming FX504 in Malaysia starting from RM3149 and it comes complete with HyperCool technology, up to an Nvidia GeForce GTX1060 as well as a 120Hz display to give you the most immersive experience in gaming and content consumption.

With all the smartphone manufacturers developing their own take of a gaming smartphone. Based on reports by playfuldroid.com, Razer has hinted that their upcoming Razer Phone 2 could come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset due to release some time end of this year.

Recently the ASUS ROG Phone was listed on a Finnish telco website for €999(~RM4710) or €759(~RM3584) excluding VAT for the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant. We are not sure whether this is the confirmed price but based on the fact that the e-commerce website is taking pre-orders for the listed price, we might see pricing close to or even below RM3000 as reported by Mr.Anonymous a few days back.

Vivo and Alibaba’s Tmall are teaming up to manufacture an upcoming smartphone due to release around late Q4 2018. By utilizing Alibaba’s customer base of more than 500 million users, both Tmall and Vivo are able to develop a smartphone that is catered towards their target demographic of users. Vivo and Tmall have already kicked start their partnership by setting up an innovation lab where both parties are able to collaborate and develop the upcoming generations of Vivo smartphones.

It seems that most of the specs previously reported seems to match up such as the 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Display QHD+ Resolution, Dual 12MP+12MP rear camera, 8MP front facing selfie camera, 128GB internal storage, 6GB of RAM, and a large (finally!) 4000mAh non-removable battery.
