Google’s parent company Alphabet has suspended Project Ara, the ambitious project to build a modular smartphone for the masses. Instead, they will look for manufacturing partners who can licence the product instead.

That's right, the company just decided to go ahead and skip the pre-orders, the sale will be on VMall Malaysia, Senheng and Lazada Malaysia, as well as its official retail partner: DirectD just two days after its launch. 

Today, Celcom Axiata Berhad (Celcom) has partnered with Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), to ink a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster academic and entrepreneurial excellence through digitisation. This is part of the MoU initiative which was done end of last month, as an opportunity to grow entrepreneurially as well as pave way for strategic alliances for internships, via the development of E-Learning entrepreneurial-based modules, and encourage students to introduce their online marketing strategies on digital shopping platforms.

Now at IFA 2016, Acer and Starbreeze AB are proud to announce that they have started to ship StarVR Virtual Reality (VR) Head-Mounted Displays (HMD) to IMAX Corporation in preparation for the highly anticipated opening of the IMAX VR Center in Los Angeles, expected later this year, and others in the near future.

The 6.44-inch display Xiaomi Mi Max will soon be available in Malaysia with the official release date being tomorrow on 3 September 2016 for RM999. Compatible with both YES and Celcom networks, bundle plans should be announced shortly but you can also get the Mi Max from Lazada and stores serviced by their official distributor Thorus.

In case you didn't know, Pawbo is a wholly owned subsidiary of Acer, and they recently just revealed a new interactive wireless pet camera called the Pawbo+. Equipped with treat dispensing and laser pointing capabilities, the new product is an extension of Acer’s BeingWare initiative, as an integrated hardware, software, and service solution, and exemplifies the Acer Group’s mission to break barriers between people and technology.
