In case you haven't heard, Xiaomi CEO Wang has confirmed that both the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 and Xiaomi Smartwatch will make their debut in June. And according to him, the Mi Band 2 will be able to show the user more information without relying much on the smartphone via Bluetooth.

Huawei has finally unveiled the long rumoured Huawei P9 today at London, and it's not just that model alone but a P9 Plus as well which was previously rumoured to be the P9 Max. It's also confirmed that both devices have built-in Leica camera in them, this changes smartphone photography on a new level and could potentially challenge Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge's dual pixel camera technology. The P9 is priced at £449 (around RM2482) while the P9 Plus is £549 (around RM3035) and will be available on 16 April for 29 countries in Europe and the Middle East (first wave).

So as confirmed, Meizu has unveiled the M3 Note as a mid-range smartphone at Beijing, China today. The price listed for it is 799 Yuan (around RM494) for the 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM version and 999 Yuan for the 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM version, as speculated in the previous leak. Meizu recently and quietly launched the Meizu MX5E, a variant of last year's MX5 with a new pricing tag at CNY1699 (RM1026). This device is a toned down version of the MX5 in both specifications and price. As for now, the availability of the phone outside of China is still not known so no Malaysia release date just yet. There was also no prior announcement from Meizu in regards to this device when it was released.

Vivo recently launched not one but two new smartphones in India, Mumbai. The devices are known as the Vivo V3 and V3 Max where both are priced at Rs17980 (RM1057) and Rs23980 (RM1409) respectively. There will be two main notable features that Vivo is trying to promote with this products, one is their version of speedy fingerprint recognition, and another is a split-screen feature for multitasking purposes. Besides that, Vivo claimed that these devices are also capable of playing up to 2 hours music playback with only 5 minutes of charging.

As of today (6 April 2016), Celcom Axiata Berhad (Celcom) has launched Phone Care, the company's first device care service in Malaysia that allows customers to swap or replace their phones or tablets for any reason with a low month payment of RM4 per month or RM20 for 6 months. Any postpaid and prepaid Celcom customers can register the Phone Care at all Celcom outlets with a package bundle or devices purchased less than 30 days from other outlets.
