Celcom have announced that they will be offering the Apple iPhone 6s from RM1058 and the Apple iPhone 6s Plus from RM1478 on FIRST by Celcom plans for Malaysian subscribers. In addition to the existing Internet and Celcom Wifi data, Celcom will also be offering 12GB of complimentary data at 1GB per month for the next 12 months. That's not all, as customers can also trade-in their current devices for discounts of up to RM1900. Considering that even the iPhone 6s with 16GB storage is going for RM3199, this is a fairly good deal. The official sale will begin tonight at 12am on 16 October 2015, but those who want their new iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus or an iPhone 5s on a FIRST by Celcom plan should go check out the Blue Cube@Sunway Pyramid, Blue Cube Publika, Celcom Centre Taman Molek, Johor Bahru and Blue Cube Elit Avenue Bayan Baru, Penang starting from the same date. Celcom recently announced their Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus pre-order plans up until their usual midnight launch at 12am on 16 October 2015. While you have to pre-order with Celcom by walking in and physically filling up a form at a participating Blue Cube and Celcom store, you can get additional benefits with up to RM2000 worth of extra goodies and 12GB worth of complimentary Internet or data (1GB of data every month for the next 12 months). Specially selected pre-order subscribers can also get their iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus delivered door-to-door at midnight on 16 October 2015.

Celcom have also released their iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus plan bundles revealing that you can sign up for a FIRST Basic 85, FIRST Basic 85 with Max up All and FIRST Elite plans. The plans come with both Internet and SMS OPTIMISER and you get 2 SIMS for the FIRST Elite plan. In addition, you can also get complimentary 12GB worth of Internet on top of the existing Internet and complimentary Celcom Wifi of each plan. While you do have to make an upfront payment, this will be rebated back for the next 10 months. Check out the Celcom site or tables below for more details.

Dell has announced a new line-up of notebook and desktop personal computers for their Dell Inspiron, XPS and Vostro series today at their Dell Product Showcase. Featuring the new 6th Generation Intel Core processors based on the Skylake microarchitecture optimized for Microsoft Windows 10 the various personal computers include the Dell XPS 13 and Dell XPS 15 which feature the virtually borderless InfintyEdge Display and a premium carbon fiber and machined aluminum chassis. New devices in the Inspiron series include the Inspiron 24 7000 and 3000 series All-in-ones, Inspiron 7000 series 2-in-1 convertible and Inspiron 7000 and 5000 series laptops for every type of computing consumer. The Inspiron 24 7000 Series All-in-one desktop in particular features the Intel RealSense 3D camera with a 23.8-inch display and ultra-slim form factor. The Vostro series saw the new Vostro 14 5000 Series which is the thinnest 14-inch Vostro laptop for SMBs and professionals to date. All of the Dell devices will be available (if they aren't already) on the Dell site and authorized retail stores with Malaysia release dates and pricing as follows:

Asides from the ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser series, ASUS Malaysia recently held a media briefing that revealed a roadmap of coming ZenFones for 2015. This includes the ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition, ASUS ZenFone Zoom and ASUS ZenFone Max. The ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition will feature all the highest-end tech specs including a 64-bit Intel Atom processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. ASUS will also include a 128GB microSD card as part of the package for a still unknown price tag sometime in November 2015. The ZenFone Zoom on the other hand offers a 3x optical zoom without any telescoping lens while the ZenFone Max will pack in a 5000 mAh battery, both with expected Malaysia release dates in December 2015. No pricing details yet, but we expect the ZenFone Deluxe Special Edition and ZenFone Zoom to range from at least RM1000 and above. While the battery is massive, the other tech specs on the ZenFone Max are decidedly midrange indicating a price tag of around RM799 or RM899 for the ZenFone Max. Sony Mobile Communications recently announced that they will be bringing in the Sony Xperia Z5 Series consisting of the Xperia Z5 Compact Dual, Xperia Z5 Dual and the world’s first 4K smartphone, the Xperia Z5 Premium Dual for Malaysia. Lucky fans selected to go to the launch will be notified and required to RSVP as they will also receive goodie bags worth RM200 and can participatein various activities like a lucky draw to sweeten up the experience. The honor 7 was launched just a bit more than a week ago and it looks like we'll be getting the review unit soon. Priced at a competitive RM1399 the honor 7 looks to bring a number of upgraded tech specs and existing features from previous Huawei and honor smartphones like the honor 6 and even the recently launched Huawei P8 flagship. Intel Malaysia have announced the release of their 6th Generation Intel Core processors built on the new Skylake microarchitecture and 14nm fabrication process at their Intel Channel Symposium 2015 for Malaysia. The new 6th generation Intel Core processors promise 2.5x better performance, 3x battery life, 30x better graphics than the average 5-year old system. These new processors are also thinner and lighter with faster wake-up time so much so that former server grade processors like Intel Xeon may soon end up in a mobile workstation.

As the roll-out of Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus pre-order initiatives continues for Malaysia's telcos, a closer look at Apple Store Malaysia has revealed official pricing for the two smartphones. Confirming our previous Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus price listings, the iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6 and iPhone 5s are also available but only in 16GB and 64GB (just up to 32GB for the iPhone 5s) storage versions. Pricing has not decreased since the earlier price hike, in fact, there have been increases across the board for all Apple iPhones. Quite obviously, the main culprit is Malaysia's current currency value and the addition of 6% GST. However, the value of the ringgit seems to be improving, so lets all hope that it recovers enough for Apple to lower the price somewhat. In the meantime, check out the price listing below for an idea of how much you're going to have to save up for the latest Apple iPhones.

In the wake of the recent reveal of the Malaysia pricing for the Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, we managed to get some leaked images of U Mobile's latest Flexi U MicroCredit installment payment plan. The leaked slides detail an installment plan that offers you the choice to decide payment schedules of 12, 24, 30 and 36 months with interest rates from as low as 0.84%. You can also choose to pay by cash or credit card and also select the financing amount from RM1000 to RM3500. As before with the U MicroCredit plan, the new Flexi U MicroCredit plan will allow both U Mobile postpaid and prepaid users to get the iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus. In addition, you can apply either online or through U Mobile branches or dealers with minimal submission documents. While we do caution you to take this with a pinch of salt, the slides also seem to be genuine, which is more good news for those of you wanting a more flexible way to buy the new Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Malaysia's telcos have started the pre-orders for the Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, inadvertantly revealing the pricing for both smartphones in Malaysia. While the official pricing is still due on 16 October 2015, we assume that the price won't change that much as it follows our earlier predictions of being about RM400 or so more than before. You can see the complete listing according to Digi below but according to their pre-order page, they are offering a special promo of RM200 discount with the iPhone 6s pricing from RM1152 and the iPhone 6s Plus from RM1577. Celcom don't have any pricing details but do have a listing of Celcom and Blue Cube outlets that you can walk in to do a pre-order. Maxis are offering 12 month and 24 month contracts with the iPhone 6s from RM1990 and the iPhone 6s Plus for RM2415. U Mobile is the only other major Malaysian telco to not have a pre-order but they are offering the iPhones on U MicroCredit and also have what looks to be a more flexible Flexi U MicroCredit plan in the works.
