Lionel Messi, globally renowned football player recently joined Huawei as their latest Global Brand Ambassador. The move comes in tandem with investment in in other sporting teams such as América, Santa Fe, Sporting Cristal, Arsenal, Atlético de Madrid and AC Milan and their latest premium yet affordable Huawei Mate 8 flagship smartphone. 

Huawei recently announced their OH MY WEI-DEO 30-second video challenge. Open to youths in Malaysia, Singapore and other Asia Pacific countries, youths are expected to make short videos based on themes like a “Better Connected Campus”, “Safe Campus” and a “Better Connected City”.
