We've seen any number of colourful plastic backcasings for the upcoming low-cost Apple iPhone 5C and we've also seen it in white. However, we've never seen it black, until now. Recently leaked images show the glossy black Apple iPhone 5C and it looks way better than any of the other colours. No idea why it took so long for it to surface but it should offer an interesting option when or if the Apple iPhone 5C gets released. Again, no news on availability in Malaysia although many are guessing it will probably be after the 10 September announcement. Pricing is rumoured to be not so low-cost as initially expected (around $400 ~ $500 or RM1317 ~ RM1646) but it is still better than the upcoming Apple iPhone 5S which is rumoured to cost $650 (RM2139). For now, check out the pics.

The rumoured HTC One Max phablet or the bigger brother of the HTC One has recently been pictured side by side with it's siblings, the HTC One and HTC One Mini with a fingerprint scanner. Now, asides from being a security feature many people are saying such a feature could add more functions like a secure e-wallet transaction identification system or perhaps as an alternative scroll button. While this could be another clever render it could also be a different version altogether as there could be versions with or without the fingerprint scanner. Tech specs for the HTC One Max remain the same with a 5.9-inch Full HD 1080p display and Snapdragon 800 processor though but no exact news just yet on pricing or availability. However, some are expecting the HTC One Max to appear in September or October of 2013.

HTC is apparently releasing a HTC ButterFly S Hello Kitty model in conjunction with Eva Air. Only 3100 units will be released and features a Hello Kitty character on the front and back of the phone. Tech specs for the HTC Butterfly S Hello Kitty model remain the same as a standard HTC Butterfly S but it will likely feature Hello Kitty media and content like wallpaper, games, screensavers and the like. Everything else like the 4MP UltraPixel camera, 5-inch 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution display and 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor remain the same. So far, this limited edition model is unfortunately limited to just Taiwan. However, you could see a couple being sold with our more enterprising local sellers soon but if you don't see it, you'll probably just need to wait a while longer before some HTC Butterfly S Hello Kitty related merchandise appear in Malaysia.
