When Samsung's Galaxy S III smartphone first came out, the goal was nothing less than world domination and the result was an awesome final quarter for Samsung in 2012. Based on this and other factors, analyst are now predicting that Samsung will reach a record breaking high of about 70+ million sales for Q1 2013. These analysts have noted that Samsung sold an estimated 25 million phones each month for 2013, which is also one of the factors predicting the 70+ million sales estimate.

While the HTC One continues to gather more and more steam, the company is reportedly looking into developing more Windows Phone models, in this case one known as the HTC Tiara. Early specs include:

• 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor
• 4.3-inch, WVGA Super LCD2 (800 x 480 pixel resolution)
• 1GB RAM
• 8GB storage
• 8MP rear camera + 1.6MP front camera
• 1800 mAh battery
• Windows Phone 8 GDR2

While not having much of hardware pedigree behind it Amazon has done some amazing things with mobile devices, introducing their Kindle Fire tablets and ebook readers. Now, rumour has it that they're working on a 4.7" smartphone (much along the same lines and design as the Samsung Galaxy S III). Like so many other rumours of this kind, this one was sparked from component makers, in this case those dealing with smartphone specific components. So far other specifications are few and far in between and the only concrete news that we have is that the Amazon smartphone will probably feature the aforementioned 4.7" screen.

Rumours surrounding Samsung's upcoming product line are coming fast and hard now, and this time around are rumours regarding Samsung's Galaxy Note III. The first rumour is that the phablet will have a much larger 5.9" display. While we're still skeptical, some main parts suppliers have confirmed this to be very likely. However, some other sharp-eyed people have spotted a Samsung device marked as the GT-19200 that will feature CDMA, GSM and more importantly, a 6.3-inch screen. This claim on the other hand is also based on the recent launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4 gaming pad accessory which showed a device much like the Samsung Galaxy Note III that has similar measurements.

ASUS Malaysia launched the ASUS Transformer AiO today (27-3-2013) at Full House, Kuala Lumpur with full media coverage. Featuring a demo by Elly Yeoh Country Product Manager of ASUS and a product briefing by Vanessa Ng, Market Development Manager, Intel Malaysia, the ASUS Transformer AiO combines the ARM based hardware of the 18.4-inch touchscreen tablet with the power of the Intel 3rd generation processor based PC Station stand.

The recent CES 2013 showed off a number of large scale tablets and the ASUS Transformer AIO (All-in-One) is one of them. Launched officially today (27-3-2013) in Malaysia, the ASUS Transformer AIO (P1801) offers the best of both worlds by offering both a desktop AIO form factor along with a portable 18.4 inch touchscreen tablet. Like other ASUS Transformer machines this hybrid AIO can be detached from it's stand and used as a tablet.

On top of the upcoming flagship HTC One, the company is also coming out with smartphones like the Desire Q and Desire P. Aiming for the low to mid range markets, the two smartphones will offer these features :

HTC Desire P:

• 8MP rear camera + front camera
• 1Ghz dual core processor
• microSD card support
• Beats Audio technology
• red and white colors
• Android 4.1

Right on the heels of the recent news regarding the HTC One delay is an official statement from HTC regarding said delay. While they haven't confirmed why the delays have happened, they have confirmed that 3 countries will get their HTC One shipments starting next week. These countries include United Kingdom, Germany and Taiwan. Other countries and markets are not so lucky. HTC has however promised that the HTC One will be released in Asia-Pacific, Europe, North America and most everywhere else before the end of April. While it may be a bit slower to the gate than Samsung's Galaxy S4, its always better late than never.

Adding new Motorola X Phone rumours to the fire is a render of a new Motorola Android smartphone. According to the specs that came along with it, this may just be how the long-awaited Motorola X Phone from Google may look like. If this really is the case, the phone may surface or be announced at the Google I/O on May 15. The specs for the phone include:

• 4.7" (1280 x 768 pixel resolution)
• 4000 mAh battery
• Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
• IP57 (water resistant 1meter of water for 30 minutes)
• Gorilla Glass 3 screen
• no MicroSD card slot

Topping off our earlier news on the Galaxy S4 Mini are several new rumors including the fact that it may come in 4 different versions and that it will be using a new Samsung Exynos Chipset. For the first rumour about versions, this one seems more than likely as eagle-eyed Twitter user st7761 found the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini's I9190 model number on the Samsung Support page. Alongside this model number he also found three other I919X devices. While these links don't actually bring you to anywhere, based on the previous model numbering it is surmised that the I9192 will be the dual SIM version while the I9195 is the LTE version. The I9198 is to be the China-only version. Official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S4 is expected to be around June or July this year.
