A number of other images have appeared for the Apple iPhone Lite, the rumoured more affordable plastic encased iPhone. This time it appears next to the Apple iPhone 5. While the existance of an Apple iPhone 5 does lend credibility that it is the real thing, it could just as easily be another render or mockup (or a cheap casing knockoff) so take this and the other photos with a big pinch of salt. In any case, if you wait just a little while longer, we'll see if these are pics of the real thing.

Google Maps Navigation has finally reached Malaysia. For quite some time now, most Malaysian drivers have just used Google Maps as a method of mapping, but now with Maps Navigation in place you can get turn-by-turn instruction with Voice guidance through GPS and Internet pinpointing (perhaps helped along due to the recent Waze buyout). Previously, if you wanted Google Maps Navigation to turn on, you had to use mods which often resulted in unstable and inaccurate navigation. Now, with the new Google Maps Navigation Beta all you need to do to get some turn-by-turn navigation is to tap the Navigation option or enable Navigation when searching for directions in Google Maps. This will load up the Beta disclaimer page and you can choose to enable the Google Maps Navigation Beta from now on.

While there are a whole bunch of ways to get better audio from your phone, one of the more unique solutions is the Ear Jack Mobile Phone Speaker, which plugs in directly to the phone earphone jack. Measuring 35mm x 35mm the speaker fits on top of the smartphone (if that is where the 3.5mm speaker plug is located) like a giant jet engine. While it may stick out like a sore thumb it actually works, creating a louder sound that can be directed. The Ear Jack Mobile Phone Speaker also has a USB cable for recharging, a small on/off swith and an indicator light. The speaker comes in black, white or red.
