ASUS ZenFone 4 Max Pro review - Bigger battery, improved cameras and more in same metal phablet body
Sep 12, 2017The ASUS ZenFone 3 Max offered a big 4000 mAh battery in a sleek metal body that did just enough for most of Malaysia’s entry-level masses. Now, as the new ASUS ZenFone 4 range comes to the market we’ve had the chance to try out the ASUS ZenFone 4 Max Pro ZC554KL smartphone. It features a bigger 5000 mAh battery, 16MP + 5MP dual rear cameras with a wide angle combo, a 16MP front camera with it’s own LED flash and many other improvements in the same metal body as before. Does it deliver more oomph to the overall big battery but just above average entry-level smartphone its predecessor was? Find out in our review of the ASUS ZenFone 4 Max Pro below.

When it first came out, the Huawei Watch was a super premium metal smart watch with one of the highest display resolutions at the time. Coming with a difficult to adjust metal band and Huawei Wear exclusive functionality along with a very high price tag, it isn't surprising that the first Huawei Watch didn't do very well. Fast forward to 2017 and the new sporty Huawei Watch 2 brings new features like a sportier more accessible design, standalone 4G LTE functionality and more. What has it improved? Find out in our 1 week review.

If you've read our Moto G5 Plus review, we were quite satisfied with how the device performed and we couldn't wait for the Moto Z2 Play by Motorola. The Moto Z2 Play is a successor to the Moto Z Play with an interesting concept of being a modular device. However, the Moto Mods are still being sold separately with different price tags, ranging from RM499 to RM1399 (according to DirectD.com). Is it worth spending your money on the extra mods? Find out in our review below.

The ASUS ZenFone AR came into Malaysia for a hefty RM3799 price tag. Yup, we know. That's really expensive for a smartphone but just so you know, this is a device that's Google Tango-ready and integrates both augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). But do you really need one? Is it more than just a gimmick? Read our review to find out.

Welcome to another camera battle where in this round, it's between the OnePlus 5 and the Apple iPhone 7 Plus. So why did we choose these two particular flagships? Well, it's because both are using a telephoto lens as their secondary camera. Also, we also can't help but point out how both look so similar but in spite of this, the price difference is quite far apart at RM2388 vs RM3699.

When it first came out, the Samsung DeX Station seemed like an obvious evolution for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, which is to turn it into a fully working desktop PC complete with a windows-based interface and network, HDMI and USB ports. Does this hockey puck sized device deliver a complete desktop PC experience? Find out in our review of the Samsung Dex Station below.

Everyone's ideal smartphone would be one that has good performance (battery and camera) yet offers value for money without selling our organs off (especially kidneys). But in reality, that's a hard thing to balance. It's either you pay highly for a premium product or pay low for mediocre products. Well, aside from Xiaomi, OnePlus is making that dream come true. If you remember reading our review of the OnePlus 3T, we dubbed it as the "flagship killer" and this applies the same to the OnePlus 5. Find out more below in our review.
