The HTC EVO 3D and its chanting followers is something we rarely see in the smartphone industry, back when it launched it had a very quick rise to fame. I mean it had that huge 4.3″ screen that made all the other phones around look tiny, it had 4G and it was fast. I can see why everyone fell in love with the original EVO and why its still selling like hot cakes, it is a sweet phone. Will the new HTC EVO 3D live up to the same fame — can it be everything and more? Read on to find out.
HTC Evo 3D - Design & Build:
First and foremost, the EVO 3D is a gorgeous phone. Like the EVO 4G, the EVO 3D is black with blood-red detailing. Keeping it in the family, the EVO View Android tablet, also announced today, has the same color scheme. The EVO 3D smartphone feels solid, but not bulky in the least. It has a nice, textured rubber backing and a slimmer shape that feels good in hand.

HTC has taken a different approach to its first tablet. Like the Blackberry Playbook, the screen is seven inches, this instantly makes it a far more portable option and at just 122 mm wide, it can easily fit into a pocket. This form factor also enables you to hold it comfortably using one hand.
Construction follows the same unibody design as HTC’s handset range, but this time with white accents. HTC uses a proprietary port in the base for charging and unlike Honeycomb tablets it charges over USB.HTC Flyer - Android:
When HTC announced that the Flyer would be running Android 2.3.3, we were surprised – surely it makes sense to run the latest tablet optimised version of Google’s UI? So although it looks like a big smartphone, it doesn’t feel like a smartphone to use - unlike the first Samsung Galaxy Tab.

It is now confirmed that the new walkman phone will be called Sony Ericsson W8 and it will be the first Walkman phone to run with Android™ sensibilities. The music lovers will definitely appreciate the fact that Sony Ericsson is reviving its Walkman range of phones, which revolutionised the experience of mobile music.
Though the device is touted as Android™ Walkman phone, it is better not to expect any revolutionary additions in terms of technology. It bears a lot of similarity with XPERIA X8, but comes with a vibrant dose of colours such as red, orange and azure.
The basic features of the phone include 600MHz processor that powers the backdated Android™ OS, which is embellished with Timecape. There is a 3.2 MP camera, but no flash. It seems that the device has solely concentrated on its music aspects. Therefore, it is expected that the handset will load excellent speakers.[ Read More ] -

The long-rumoured HTC Pyramid has finally been unmasked as the HTC Sensation, and takes over from the Desire HD as the company's Android flagship. We managed to get some hands-on time with the dual-core beast, to see if it lives up to our high expectations.
HTC Sensation: Design & Builds
From the front it follows the same unimaginative build of other dual-core Android handsets including the Motorola Atrix and LG Optimus 2X. But turn it over and it’s classic HTC, this time with striking three-tone aluminium back. It feels incredibly well built and solid, certainly what you’d expect from HTC and of a premium product. The metal is a world away from the cheap plastic back of the Samsung Galaxy S2.

The HTC Wildfire S is here to take the baton from HTC’s entry-level Android phone for 2010, the hit HTC Wildfire. This time around it’s sporting a spruced up screen, a newer bake of Android and a luvverly metal shell.
Wildfire S - Design and build quality:
If the original Wildfire was a pico-sized version of the hit 2010 HTC Desire Android phone, so the HTC Wildfire S echoes the new look and design of its sequel, the HTC Desire S. Port placements are the same, the trackpad has been ditched in favour of responsive capacitive buttons below the display and it keeps that same beautiful metal build.

The LG Optimus Pad comes with an 8.9in touchscreen and a built-in 3D camera but with no GSM voice communication capabilities.
Impressive specs, but 3D isn't for everyone
LG’s gone for a different approach to rivals, along with an 8.9-inch screen, the Optimus Pad includes dual 5-megapixel stills camera for capturing 720p 3D movies. It comes in a WiFi and 3G version and includes 32GB storage.
While it’s certainly innovative, the 3D camera also screams “this device needs gimmicks to stand out”. But is the LG Optimus Pad a one-trick-pony - albeit a 3D one?
