As the Movement Restriction begins tomorrow (18 March) until 31 March 2020, many businesses will be closing down temporarily until further notice. Our local cinema theatres will follow suit, but there are other services such as Grab Malaysia continuing their business as usual. In this latest news, it seems that our authorized Apple reseller, Machines, will also be closed during the same period.

This includes businesses like TGV Cinemas and GSC, which will be closing all cinemas and suspending operations temporarily.

While this may look surreal, the Movement Restriction will begin from 18 March until 31 March 2020 as an initiative to minimize the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak. The government has ordered all private businesses to be closed down until further notice and many were wondering if Grab will cease operation. Thankfully, they are not.

With the recent announcement of the movement restriction by the Malaysia Government, it was announced that food stores and food supply will still be running as usual.
