Lenovo has recently announced the launch of the ThinkPad X1 Extreme starting from RM6974 and it will be available on starting from December 2018 onwards. The tech specs of the laptop includes the 8th Generation Intel Core i9 processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX1050 Ti, up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM, up to 2TB of SSD storage and up to 15 hours of battery life with RapidCharge technology which has the capabilities of charging up to 80 minutes in an hour.

So here's another round of EMUI 9.0 beta invite, this time around it's now available on the Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i smartphones and Huawei Malaysia is inviting all users of the Nova 3 series to join the test and give their feedback.

MediaTek took to Twitter to confirm that the Helio P90 SoC would be out soon with claims that it will have “Groundbreaking AI”. They also claimed that the SoC is the most efficient and powerful to date. So far, no release dates have been mentioned but according to the tweet, we can expect to see the chip very soon.

In this extremely short news, vivo is proud to announce another market share result in the Q3 of 2018. This time around, a new research on the 2018 Q3 Asia market share shows that vivo is once again one of the top 5 smartphone brands, scoring a 15% market share. Although they are 1% behind OPPO, vivo is tied together with Huawei and stands above Xiaomi and Samsung.

Based on the reports from gizchina.com, the upcoming OPPO R19 might be the first to be powered by a Mediatek Helio P80 Chipset. Other than the R19, the Mediatek Helio P80 will be expected to be available on majority of the mid-range phones in the coming year of 2019.

Xiaomi and IKEA officially announced their strategic partnership recently at the annual MIDC conference. This means that IKEA's full range of smart lighting products will be connected to Xiaomi's IoT (Internet of Things) platform starting from December 2018 in China. No news when these will be available in Malaysia or for how much.

Today, DJI has announced a new product called Osmo Pocket. Possibly the most compact camera device ever, it's similar to the standard Osmo handheld gimbal for smartphones but tinier. At the moment, it's not available in Malaysia yet but you can pre-order it overseas for $349 (~RM1463) at store.dji.com.
