Today, Canon Malaysia is proud to announce the latest models in Malaysia - the Canon EOS 800D, EOS 77D, and EOS M6. All the models are now available at all Canon Image Square and authorized dealers nationwide with a price tag of RM3299, RM3799, and RM3409 respectively for the body. 

According to DigiTimes, Apple is planning to release their upcoming next-gen Apple Watch Series 3 in the second half of 2017. We can safely assume that this will launch together with their 10^th Anniversary iPhone this year, as it also tally with Economic Daily News which will be revealed in the third quarter of 2017.

With the Honor 8 Pro officially released in Europe, another new device was also launched alongside there which is the Honor 6C. Although not exactly a new phone, as it was launched in China during January, it didn’t really make any headlines globally because it was under a different name (Huawei Enjoy 6s) so here’s what we know of the device.

Aside from the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 that’s going on sale and gaining favourable reviews, the Mi Pad series is also another tablet from the company that we haven’t heard in a long time. Looking to score a world's first, Alcatel have listed their Alcatel Flash smartphone featuring 8MP + 5MP dual front and 13MP + 13MP dual rear cameras, a deca-core (10 cores) MediaTek Helio X20 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 5.5-inch full HD display with dragontrail glass, 3100 mAh body and a fingerprint sensor. Granted, the other tech specs don't really impress much but the 4 cameras on the phone do mean hardware based bokeh or portrait mode with blurred background selfies and rear shots for the Alcatel Flash (not to be confused with the Flash or Flash 2). No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but it could come to Malaysia eventually.

Right on cue, Honor have officially and globally confirmed the Honor V9 (which was announced for China) as the Honor 8 Pro. We initially saw it a bit earlier with some hands-on pics but the tech specs have been confirmed to include a Kirin 960 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 5.7-inch 2K or 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution display and Android 7.0 + EMUI 5.1 right out of the box. It will also have 4G LTE, NFC, 12MP dual rear cameras (one of them being monochrome), 8MP front camera, an infrared universal remote controller, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type C port and a hybrid Dual SIM slot. It will measure in at 157 x 77.5 x 6.97mm and 184g while still packing in a 4000 mAh battery.

For sharp eyed tech-geeks, some may noticed the drop of battery capacity comparing the Samsung Galaxy S8+ and Galaxy S7 edge. It does seem weird for the downgrade, even though the difference is only 100mAh. But Samsung does have a new 10nm chip to assist the power efficiency. So how good is the battery life? 

Malaysians should be familiar with Digi’s VoLTE (voice over LTE), but not many devices have that feature yet. But today, we can now enjoy it with the Huawei P10 and even the P10 Lite to surf online at 4G LTE speeds while engaged on voice call.

So, there’s a new silver variant for the Nokia 6 and it’s up for pre-orders in Jingdong, a China website. If you’re interested, the device will be available for shipping on 11 April, the tech-specs of Snapdragon 430, 5.5-inch 1080p display size and everything else are just the same.
