We have seen the earlier report here, and now it is official. Just in time for the upcoming games, Samsung has just announced the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Games Edition, to celebrate its partnership with the Rio 2016 Olympics.

So it's official, the previously leaked date for the Meizu MX6 is not 16 July but 19 July 2016 instead. Meizu will first hold a press conference and then unveil the smartphone and other products which are not named. We also got two supposedly real photos of how it would look like, thanks to Weibo.

Priced at 13400 INR (RM798), other tech specs are similarly lower end with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. We expect it to have the latest 4G LTE dual SIM capabilities as the Galaxy J1 2016 though and it does come with a large 4000 mAh battery.

The Xiaomi group from China, while known for selling good quality devices in an affordable manner, they are also known for not having a physical store and relies on online sales especially their annual flash sales every year. It is not known if because of that, that's why Xiaomi is no longer in the top 5 spot for manufacturing phones last quarter, as OPPO and Vivo made their way into the ranks in China.

Rumours have it that it might be ready to be launched at the IFA 2016 in Berlin this coming September.
