On February 2016, Sony will be launching a brand new wearable - the WS413 Walkman soon in Malaysia. The new earphones are tough, resistant to salt water and dust which allows the users to enjoy their music everywhere they go, even the ice cold snow.
Designed for outdoor activities of any kind, the WS413 Walkman is also highly corrosion-resistant meaning that any tiny particles are blocked by the sleek surface of the wearable. In other words, nothing goes in and out if you're under water, or at the beach, up above the mountains, and even the noises around you with its new Ambient Sound mode; which users can choose to switch on or off to pick up the sound with built-in microphones without having to take off the earphones.

Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd, the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and the National Council of Women’s Organisations (NCWO) have collaborated recently and launched DigiWED, which stands for Digi Wanita Era Digital. The purpose of the programme is to inspire, empower and provide Malaysian women with basic internet skills.
WED will be conducted in a series of educational meet-ups at 1Malaysia Internet Centres and NCWO affiliates’ offices around the country, along the basic internet skills includes safe usage of smart devices and the internet for communicating, sharing, browsing, and entertainment, as well as give them good reasons to use the internet. Digi hopes to expand the programme further to help women to take their business online in this rising digital economy era.

The still unrevealed and unannounced Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge have been having quite a few rumours already, but a recent listing at India's Zauba have supposedly confirmed the sizes of the screen. Listed as for testing, the Galaxy S7 or SM-G390R4 will have a 5.1-inch display while the Galaxy S7 edge or SM-G935R4 will have a 5.5-inch display. According to previous rumours, both will feature a 12MP rear camera, perhaps following the excellent 12MP rear camera on the Huawei Nexus 6P.

After a number of leaks and previous release dates, it looks like Xiaomi Senior VP Liwan Jiang has made it official, confirming that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be announced on 24 February 2016. Tech specs and features for the Mi 5 could include the latest Snapdragon 820 processor, either 3GB or 4GB RAM, 16GB / 32GB / 64GB storage and more. While this has not been confirmed, many industry watchers are expecting the Mi 5 to come with other Xiaomi devices as well. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but for now, you can check out the estimated tech specs listing below:

This included Android Central, Gotta Be Mobile, Tom's Guide, PC Mag.com, PhoneArena.com, CRN.com and Android Authority. While there is still no official Malaysia pricing just yet, the honor 5X is due for its Malaysia debut next week on 26 January 2016. Currently, the honor 5X offers tech specs that include a full metal build, fingerprint sensor, 5.5-inch full HD display, 13MP rear camera and more for just $199 (RM853). Good news to Samsung fans, Samsung Malaysia Electronics have unveiled a Samsung Galaxy Note5 in Pink Gold colour. Currently on a retail price of RM2699 (GST), the device is a limited edition and will be available from 21 January onwards.

The exceptional innovation and functionality of the Galaxy Note5 aside, we realized that colour too play an important role in the popularity of the phone. If you still remember, Nokia released a promotional video just two days ago indicating their return to the industry. Rumours are already circulating around the internet with their latest device from Baidu, showing us two unknown Nokia devices in black and white.
Judging from the design, it looks like the smartphones could be in full metal. It also retains that tough look from their early cellphone days, yet looking gentle as well. Volume controls and power button are located at the right side of the device from upfront, and both are equipped with a LED flash, camera and speaker at the rear.
