Intel Malaysia have announced the release of their 6th Generation Intel Core processors built on the new Skylake microarchitecture and 14nm fabrication process at their Intel Channel Symposium 2015 for Malaysia. The new 6th generation Intel Core processors promise 2.5x better performance, 3x battery life, 30x better graphics than the average 5-year old system. These new processors are also thinner and lighter with faster wake-up time so much so that former server grade processors like Intel Xeon may soon end up in a mobile workstation.

As the roll-out of Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus pre-order initiatives continues for Malaysia's telcos, a closer look at Apple Store Malaysia has revealed official pricing for the two smartphones. Confirming our previous Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus price listings, the iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6 and iPhone 5s are also available but only in 16GB and 64GB (just up to 32GB for the iPhone 5s) storage versions. Pricing has not decreased since the earlier price hike, in fact, there have been increases across the board for all Apple iPhones. Quite obviously, the main culprit is Malaysia's current currency value and the addition of 6% GST. However, the value of the ringgit seems to be improving, so lets all hope that it recovers enough for Apple to lower the price somewhat. In the wake of the recent reveal of the Malaysia pricing for the Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, we managed to get some leaked images of U Mobile's latest Flexi U MicroCredit installment payment plan. The leaked slides detail an installment plan that offers you the choice to decide payment schedules of 12, 24, 30 and 36 months with interest rates from as low as 0.84%. You can also choose to pay by cash or credit card and also select the financing amount from RM1000 to RM3500. As before with the U MicroCredit plan, the new Flexi U MicroCredit plan will allow both U Mobile postpaid and prepaid users to get the iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus. In addition, you can apply either online or through U Mobile branches or dealers with minimal submission documents. While we do caution you to take this with a pinch of salt, the slides also seem to be genuine, which is more good news for those of you wanting a more flexible way to buy the new Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Malaysia's telcos have started the pre-orders for the Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, inadvertantly revealing the pricing for both smartphones in Malaysia. While the official pricing is still due on 16 October 2015, we assume that the price won't change that much as it follows our earlier predictions of being about RM400 or so more than before. You can see the complete listing according to Digi below but according to their pre-order page, they are offering a special promo of RM200 discount with the iPhone 6s pricing from RM1152 and the iPhone 6s Plus from RM1577. Celcom don't have any pricing details but do have a listing of Celcom and Blue Cube outlets that you can walk in to do a pre-order. Maxis are offering 12 month and 24 month contracts with the iPhone 6s from RM1990 and the iPhone 6s Plus for RM2415. U Mobile is the only other major Malaysian telco to not have a pre-order but they are offering the iPhones on U MicroCredit and also have what looks to be a more flexible Flexi U MicroCredit plan in the works. 

With the Apple iPhone 6s already officially on it's way to Malaysia on 16 October 2015, Malaysia's telcos have started the pre-registration or registration of interest pages for the smartphone. U Mobile is no different but unlike the others, it appears that they will be offering the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus on U MicroCredit. Previously available for the iPhone 6, U MicroCredit is an installment payment plan with no deposit or credit card required so everyone can own the latest iPhone 6s despite its rather high price tag. Again, unlike the other telcos, this method means that even U Mobile prepaid users can get an iPhone 6s.

In addition to the U MicroCredit plan, we recently got news that the iPhone 6s will also be offered on a new Flexi U MicroCredit plan which will allow you to choose the financing amount and repayment months as you want, so even more Malaysians can afford the iPhone 6s. Granted, Apple have yet to reveal Malaysia pricing details but with last year's iPhone 6 going for RM2699 and this year's drop in currency value we estimate the iPhone 6s going for as high as RM3199 but you can check our other estimated pricing details and full price list of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus around the world below.

After quite a few leaks, the ASUS ZenFone Go (ZC500TG) is now available in the Malaysian ASUS Store for RM519. While the cheaper ASUS ZenFone C can still be seen on the site, it doesn't have stock and looks like it will probably be phased out soon. Despite being a bit pricier the ZenFone Go offers a bit more in terms of tech specs which includes a 1.3Ghz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 5-inch 720p display, 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and 2MP front camera. Samsung Malaysia recently revealed that their latest Samsung Galaxy Note 5 phablet is now available in four colours including black sapphire and silver titanium. In addition to this, they also revealed that the S-Pen powered phablet will also be available for trade-in at various roadshows. While the first roadshow already finished at Putrajaya, the next slew of roadshows are expected to start from 15 October 2015 to 1 November 2015. Also in addition, Samsung Malaysia and Ingram Micro are also offering trade-in discounts both for your older Samsung Galaxy Note phablets along with other smartphones, with the actual price to be evaluated by Ingram Micro staff on site. Priced at RM2699, the trade-in discounts can go up to as high as RM1150 but for a full list of all the roadshows and trade-in pricing go check it out in this article. ADATA Technology recently launched their ADATA Premier DDR4 2133 SO-DIMM memory. Optimized with the new Intel Skylake processors and chipset along with the Haswell-E platform, tech specs and features for these new DDR4 memory modules include that it comes in 4GB and 8GB versions with both clocked at 2133MHz. In the quest for battery life, these new ADATA Premier DDR4 memory modules run on 1.2V for 20% reduction in energy consumption, contributing to longer overall battery life. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet, but the ADATA Premier DDR4 2133 SO-DIMM memory modules should be available at most IT stores soon if they aren't already.

The ASUS Lolliflash remains one of the few external dual LED lights in the Malaysian market for better and more portable lighting for your cameraphone shots. It is now available at the ASUS Store Malaysia for just RM49. Fitting easily into any 3.5mm jack, the external LED flashlight offers 3 levels of intensity or brightness and comes in blue, red, yellow and white. While it should make taking selfie shots easier with better skin tone, the 8g Lolliflash is also useful for a bit more lighting when you need it in those low-light condition shots.
