As we near the regional launch time of the ASUS ZenFone 2, it remains the only smartphone to pack in 4GB of RAM. While we have yet to see any benchmarks of the 4GB RAM ASUS ZenFone 2, the 2GB RAM version was recently benchmarked with a massive score of 50401 on AnTuTu. This is higher than previous powerhouse Android smartphones but not as high as an NVIDIA Tegra X1 powered device. The benchmark confirmed tech specs like a 64-bit 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor and PowerVR Rogue G6430 graphics but showed that this could be the 5-inch display version as it only had 2GB of RAM and a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. There are versions with a 5.5-inch display and 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution along with other tech specs like a 13MP rear camera. Malaysia pricing and release dates have not been confirmed yet but pre-orders have revealed that the 2GB RAM version could go for $299 (RM1076) while the 4GB RAM version may be offered at $439 (RM1580). The 5-inch version is expected to go for $199 (RM717) which should make quite a few users happier due to the very high AnTuTu score above. We expect the larger and higher resolution display to weigh down the AnTuTu score somewhat but the 4GB RAM should offer a bit more of a boost than the 2GB version. The ASUS ZenFone 2 is expected to arrive sometime in March or April 2015.

The Motorola Moto 360 smartwatch looks very good as one of the few round smartwatches out in the market. While it hasn't officially arrived here in Malaysia yet, it is available at third-party sellers like SatuGadgetDotCom and DirectD for as low as RM899. As the first round smartwatch the Motorola Moto 360 not only turns heads for it's gorgeous good looks but also for it's gorgeous round box. We take a closer look at what else comes with the Motorola Moto 36 smartwatch in our unboxing video below. While it isn't available officially, the Motorola Moto 360 is available for around RM899 at third party sellers like SatuGadgetDotCom and DirectD. Rumours about the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge have been making the rounds on the Internet for quite some time now. The latest leak indicates that the upcoming flagship device will be the most powerful handset that will be available in the market for quite some time. A recent entry on GeekBench shows that the S6 Edge with the model number SM-925 scores more than any other smartphone in the multi-core test. The device scored an impressive 5077 points in the test, which is much higher than the current leader, the Apple iPad Air 2 with 4532 points. Clearly, the octa-core Exynos 7420 chip is much better than any other SoCs that we have seen to date. Even in the single-core test, the device managed to score 1492 points. Only the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6 and the powerful NVIDIA Tegra K1 poweredNexus 9 scores better than the Exynos 7420 powered Galaxy S6 Edge in this test. The Samsung flagship was also spotted on AnTuTu recently where it scored over 60000 points, much better than any other phone in the market. With latest rumors indicating that Samsung may redesign its laggy TouchWiz UI, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge flagship may turn out to be a great device. Taking over from the Xiaomi Redmi 1S is the Xiaomi Redmi 2 smartphone with a new 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor that supports 4G LTE connectivity. Currently available on offer from third-party sellers like SatuGadgetDotCom and DirectD for as low as RM448 the Redmi 2 has yet to officially arrive here in Malaysia. While it hasn't been released officially here in Malaysia yet, the Xiaomi Redmi 2 is available for purchase from third-party sellers. Tech specs are quite high-end for that price with an octa-core MediaTek processor, 4G LTE, 2GB RAM and WiFi 802.11 ac.
