We've certainly come a long way in terms of smartphone technology with personal assistants like Siri and Google Now that we can command with our voice. How about a walking talking smartphone in the shape of a bipedal robot that not only listens to you and makes voice activated calls but also recognizes your face and talks back? This is the main idea behind the Sharp RoBoHon which offers smartphone features and functionality in a robot body.

The top-spec ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe ZE551ML is finally available here in Malaysia with it's stardust purple polygon backside for just RM1599. Featuring the top-of-of-the-line 64-bit 2.3GHz Intel Z3580 processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the ZenFone 2 Deluxe should perform at the same level as the recently reviewed ASUS ZenFone 2 ZE551ML but packs in 128GB of storage for those of you who like to keep everything on your smartphone. With just three more days for the upcoming Budget 2016 (23 October 2015), the National ICT Association of Malaysia (PIKOM) have prepared a few recommendations or 'Wish List' to the Malaysia government for the budgetary plans of the ICT sector next year.

The Huawei Mate S made a splash at the IFA 2015 as the world's first smartphone to implement a pressure sensitive Force Touch like feature alongside various other high-end functions as well. While we did say that it was expected in September, the invites have already been sent out confirming that the Huawei Mate S will be coming to Malaysia on 27 October 2015.

Leaked images of the upcoming HTC One A9 (set for announcement tomorrow) indicate that like the Lenovo Sisley, the One A9 is going to look like the Apple iPhone 6. While the Sisley didn't have a protruding camera and actually changed up the antenna positioning, the One A9 looks to be nearly identical to the iPhone 6. Cher Wang, HTC CEO was even quoted as mentioning that the One A9 will be a good alternative to Apple's iPhones, as it "strikes a balance between beauty, performance and simplicity."

Tech specs and features include a midrange Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB / 3GB RAM, 16GB /32GB storage, a 5-inch FHD display, 13MP rear camera and Android 6.0. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but it is going for €599 (RM2883) in Europe. We do recommend taking a pinch of salt with this as it is still a rumour but we'll find out more tomorrow.

Rumours about the Meizu Blue Charm Metal, which will make its debut on 21 October 2015 include that it will feature a magnesium-aluminium alloy build to give it a more premium feel. But first, the tech specs:-

Carphone Warehouse has already started taking pre-orders from customers for the BlackBerry Priv. The first BlackBerry device functioning with Android OS, the tech specs include:

The Huawei Watch special edition was recently revealed by Huawei Consumer Business Group (BG) and styled by renowned Italian designer Barnaba Fornasetti for the guests at Vogue China's tenth anniversary party at Milan Fashion Week 28 September 2015. The watch is made of modern technology, design and art represents a collaboration between Huawei, Vogue China and Fornasetti. The smart watch allows users to stay online wherever they are, with calls, texts, instant messages and email notifications.

Huawei recently announced that they got an improved listing on Interbrand's 2015 Best Global Brands report. Previously, Huawei was listed on the 2014 Best Global Brands report at #94 but this year's listing of #88 is mainly due to robust growth in all business segments. For 2014, they recorded US$46.5 billion in annual revenue, a year-over-year increase of 20.6%. Net profits reached US$4.5 billion which is a year-over-year increase of 32.7%.

The recently announced Huawei Nexus 6P marks the first time that Google and Huawei have collaborated on a smartphone together. It also marks the first 2K display smartphone that Huawei have made and it is also the higher-end Nexus device compared to the LG-made Nexus 5X. Featuring aeruonautical-grade anodized aluminum with diamond chamfers the Nexus 6P offers Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, a fingerprint sensor, dual front speakers, USB Type-C ports and a 12.3MP rear camera with super large 1.55-micron pixel Sony sensor that can record 4K video at 30fps.
