Featuring a 4100 mAh battery in a slim metal body along with 16MP rear camera, the RM999 (RM886 now on our price listings) priced ASUS ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) offers long-lasting power and performance. We took this phone for a trip and did not charge it at all, all the while using it to record videos, take pictures and so forth. Check it out in this video.

With the Neffos X1 and X1 Max launched yesterday, the X1 is already available at all authorized Neffos retailers and resellers nationwide for RM769 (2GB/16GB variant) and RM849 (3GB/RM32GB variant). The X1 Max however, will only come to Malaysia in March 2017, with a price tag of RM999 (3GB/32GB variant) and RM1199 (4GB/64GB variant). Having a secure smartphone is important currently – especially when your whole personal life is contained in something that you slip into your pocket, it is vital that the content of that device is secure from prying eyes and snooping ears. However, many users out there are lax in making sure their phones are secure. Sure, there are biometric protection systems, but is anyone else taking the next step?

The recent news of the Nokia 6 made quite a few "mehs" with most of those directed at the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor it uses. Other tech specs like the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage didn't get as much flak so we thought we'd check out the Snapdragon 430 processor using our similarly powered ASUS ZenFone 3 Max 5.5 or ZC553KL. Granted, there are differences between the two phones which you can see with our comparison tool, but the Nokia 6 does have the same display and more memory, so the differences in performance should be negligable if not better.

ASUS Malaysia recently announced that you can now buy the new ASUS ZenFone 3 Max 5.5 or ZC553KL smartphone for RM999. Thanks to them we managed to get some hands-on time with it and did an unboxing as well. Fresh from the official launch of their Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) and Galaxy A5 (2017), we managed to get some time with both phones, taking them for a spin and checking out the features. Taking a big step forward (which will probably result in many others following in their footsteps) the new Galaxy A (2017) phones feature IP68 water and dust resistance, 16MP front and back cameras and support for Samsung Pay.
