The Dell Streak 7, a tablet that is marketed as a potent product to work, but also to play, watch video and “be watched” in video calls. The Streak 7 is also presented as an accomplished eReader and an overall multimedia device to consume music, photo and the web. Dell has always recognized that the smaller Streak 5 is an “experiment” in terms of form factor and usage model, but the 7” version goes head to head with the iPad, the Galaxy Tab and other tablets.
Dell Streak 7: DesignThe Dell Streak 7 has a clean design. It is plain and feels a bit “plastic” (especially in the back), more so than the Samsung Galaxy Tab for instance. Unlike other devices, this one has only three Android buttons: Home, Menu and Back. The Android buttons are odly placed if you use the Tablet right-handed and horizontally: your thumb lands right where the buttons are and it’s actually easier to simply rotate it by 180 degrees and hold it from the opposite side. It works great, maybe except if you use the webcam. Even then, I tend to find the Streak 7 to be a two-hands device, despite its relatively small size (when compared to the iPad). With a single hand, it feels heavier than it looks, so keep this in mind.

The Nokia C2-01 is a budget mobile phone with an attractive design. Nokia C2-01 hardly sets the pulse racing but it performed solidly in our lab tests and is a decent choice if you want a basic model.
Nokia C2-01: Design & Build
It’s a slim, light model with a black, plastic body and metal edging. This helps give it more of a premium feel than most cheap handsets. The small size means that on-screen icons can be hard to make out and that the text in ‘threaded messages’ (where the phone displays messages you’ve sent and received next to each other) is too small.

The Samsung S5670 also known as the Galaxy Fit is another one of Samsung’s entry in the plethora of mid-range Android-powered phones. Being in the same ‘Galaxy’ series of phones from Samsung, much is expected from this unit and I’m quite happy that it delivers considering the price point it’s being offered at.
Samsung Galaxy Fit is a smartphone which operates at frequencies of GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 / HSDPA 900 / 2100 Mhz. The handset has a impressive 3.31 inches touchscreen display and weighs 108gms. The mobile phone is loaded with much needed connectivity features and multimedia support.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is known as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. This is the successor to the most popular Android tablet yet – the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 - Design & Build:
The Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 is thin. Like really thin… at least in comparison to the other Android 3.X tablets out there. And yes, according to Samsung’s measurements it’s even thinner than the iPad 2. However, as you may have guessed, the difference isn’t noticeable to the naked eye, and if you didn’t have a measuring tape on you, you’d probably never know one was trimmer than the other. Where you will notice the difference between the two is on weight. The 1.24-pound Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 feels lighter in hand than the 1.33-pound iPad. The only ports you will find on this tablet are 3.5mm headphone and proprietary charging jacks. There is a volume rocker and a power button, but forget that microSD card slot or micro-USB port.

The HTC Incredible S is a worthy heir of HTC Desire. The device boasts a refined design with a slightly convex case.
HTC Incredible S - Start-up time:
The HTC Incredible S takes about 25 seconds to start. Overall, the device benefits from the “fast boot” technology. The smartphone can restart in five short seconds, provided you do not previously remove the battery.
Navigation can be done with greater fluidity and latency is almost non-existent. When loading an application, even when a Web connection is required, it is done almost instantaneously. The Incredible S works well with EDGE or 3G; unfortunately it doesn’t have 4G (LTE) support.[ Read More ] -

LG announced the world’s first smartphone powered by a Nvidia Tegra2 processor. At CES 2011 , several handset makers announced products based on the Tegra2 but this is the first smartphone or super-smart phone to hit the market. Lets see how the device meets our expectations.
LG Optimus 2X - Hardware:
The first thing you would notice about the phone is the huge 4 inch display which has great clarity and color reproduction. The display runs on a 800x480 px resolution. The left and right edges of the display have a minor curve towards the end and its nice to use.
Although the phone is made of plastic for the most part, it does not feel cheap like other phones like the Samsung Galaxy S. The phone is certainly big compared to other devices but since this is the world’s first dual core smartphone, we are not complaining.[ Read More ] -

The Samsung Galaxy Ace comes hot on the heels of the sock-evaporating, super stunning Samsung Galaxy S2. However with a different shape and decidedly down-sized specs, it’s clearly not for the same type of audience. Is it worth a look with the HTC Wildfire S around the corner? Let’s find out.
Samsung Galaxy Ace - Design and build quality:
It’s a plastic, Fisher-Price version of the iPhone 4, with identical curved edges, black bezel and metal bands around the side, plus a clicky home button - though it being Android, you’ll find touch sensitive menu and back buttons on either side of it as well.
We can’t say we’re loving the sense of deja vu the Samsung Galaxy Ace’s case will give you, but it is at least rock solid, with USB and 3.5mm audio ports on the top as they should be, plus a conveniently placed microSD card slot so you can switch out memory without having to pull the battery out.[ Read More ] -

The Motorola Atrix made a splash at CES last month when it was announced. Partly because it’s running on a dual-core 1ghz processor, but it its not just its powerful specs alone that made it impressive. It was its lapdock accessory that made everyone’s head turn. A smartphone that docks into a laptop? That is something new and different.
Motorola Atrix 4G - Design:
With its 4″ display, curved edges and relatively lightweight body which weighs 135 grams, the Atrix feels really nice to hold in your hand. As a matter of fact, the Atrix weighs just a drop less than the iPhone 4, which is amazing considering it’s packing in a dual-core processor. Overall, we find the size and weight to be ideal for our tastes, as we personally find some of the smartphones with 4.3″ displays to be unwieldy for our hands. For starters, while removing the battery cover, we somehow managed to the dent speaker grate located on its bottom back side, and it’s not like we were applying much pressure to it either. Furthermore, the device also tends to heat up – but not so much, that it’s uncomfortable to use.
