In this day and age, having a 3G connection on your smartphone shouldn’t really be a selling feature. It should be a given, like saying that your smartphone has the ability to update Twitter or organize your schedule. Even so, it seems that one of the primary selling points of the new BlackBerry Curve 9300 is exactly that, since it is also marketed as the BlackBerry Curve 3G. 

BlackBerry Curve 9300 - Features and Specifications:

As a Curve, the BlackBerry 9300 is a very clear step down from even older devices like the BlackBerry Bold 9700. The price reflects that, but be prepared to make some sacrifices. For instance, it only has a 2.0-megapixel camera and that doesn’t even come with flash. There’s just 256MB of internal memory, but you can expand that with the included microSD memory card slot. The rest of the specs are better than some Curves from the past though.

Samsung Galaxy 5 shouldn’t be confused with Samsung Galaxy S which is a high end flag ship model from the Korean electronics giant. Galaxy 5 is an entry level smartphone and it is one of the cheapest Android phones in the market. The low price doesn’t necessarily mean that the phone has compromised on a lot of features.  

Samsung Galaxy 5: Design

The Galaxy 5 has a rounded, distinctive design with curved back. This makes it easy and comfortable to hold the phone in the hand but when you put it on a flat surface, the handset rocks from one side to the other. I liked the finish of the phone, it is attractive and glossy and has chrome edging. However, the glossy finish also attracts a lot of fingerprints easily and this won’t go well with hygiene freaks who love to keep their gadgets clean.

The Nokia C6 has been around for some time now, its Nokia's mid range smart phone which is almost identical to the N97 mini, which was previously a part of its high end segment. The Nokia C series consists of their more affordable range of phones that do well for the masses and are not short of features too. In other words, its like the "VFM" series they got. The Nokia C6, C6-01 and the C7 are the high end models of the C series, all having pretty different features and have their won style.

Nokia C6 - Design and Build:

The Phone looks almost identical to the 5800XM when the keyboard is hidden, in fact, the C6 is basically a 5800XM with a slide out QWERTY keyboard and an upgraded camera. The Keyboard is actually nice, has a good feel to it. The backlight is also nice, but there seems to be a glitch, at times the keys dont get illuminated or take a few seconds to turn on, but no major issue. When the keyboard slides out, it does not make an angle like the N97 mini and just slides out straight. On one side of the phone, you have your volume control buttons, a switch for the screen lock and camera button, all pretty nowmal, nothing great. Overall, the phone feels solid and very well built.

The fourth iteration of the iPhone is certainly the most controversial handset so far. Hardware leaks, suicides and police raids have all formed part of this smartphone's turbulent journey to market.

iPhone 4 - Build:

The first thing you'll notice when holding the iPhone 4 is just how incredible the build quality is. It feel incredibly pleasing in the hand and actually, make the 3GS feel, well, a bit chubby and cheap. The front and back are black glass with a brushed steel band running round the phone.

In the low end, you will sometimes come across rare gems of phones that will surprise you with their styling and features. The Nokia C3 isn’t one of them. The key word here is enough. The build, the connectivity, the interface – even the imaging – is good enough.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro mobile phone offers the superb combination of excellent touch screen features and the power of full QWERTY keyboard. HTC’s new 3G Aria is as cute as a button – a dainty version of an Android 2.1 superphone. While its size presents some problems, the HTC Aria is nonetheless an otherwise fully-featured cell phone, perfect for those who carry clutch purses or those who wish to be relatively unencumbered by gadgets.

Aria is a non-descript black slab with silver highlights and exposed screw heads; a more industrial functionality look than casual or nightclub style. Its rubberized case gives Aria a protective “sure grip.”

The Aria is fronted by a bright 3.2-inch, 320 x 480 display. On the rear is a 5-megapixel camera that doubles as a VGA video recorder and speaker. The Samsung Galaxy S is a monoblock touchscreen phone and measures in at 122.4*64.2*9.9mm. A glance at the measurements and you know this phone is sleek. While the handset is wider and taller than most touchscreens, it is not too large for a phone with a 4” screen. Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini - Design and Build Quality:

The most striking aspect of the X10 Mini is definitely its design and size. You will not believe how tiny the device is till you see one and hold it. The phone is unbelievably small and can be mistaken for a toy phone.

The phone measures at 83x50x16mm which means it’s very small but a tad bit thick for today’s standards. But the thickness is expected because they have to cram all the features in such a small body. The weight of the phone is 88 grams which is very little. You can put it in your pocket and forget that it’s there.
