Today, Huawei has launched the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 S 2026 in Malaysia, expanding its tablet lineup. Positioned between work and creativity, the new MatePad aims to replace traditional notebooks with a digital-first workflow powered by upgraded display technology and PC-level tools.

HUAWEI’s HarmonyOS are currently in the latest version 2 which has been rolled out to more than 70 million devices according to a report. The company is currently working on a new version and will be announced later this year at its annual developer conference 2021.

It was only a few days ago when Huawei Malaysia announced that their very first MateStation S PC is coming to Malaysia. The company silently updated the price tag on their official website which starts from an affordable RM2488 only in Space Gray. The sale will start from this Friday onwards (19 March 2021).

It seems that the Huawei MateStation S has recently been spotted on Huawei Malaysia’s official website, hinting that it will most likely be unveiled in the local market very soon. Unfortunately, the listing did not state the official price of the aforementioned product, so you might want to check back with us for more info in the near future.

We recently got some time with the beautiful looking Huawei Mate S so we did an unboxing and hands-on video. Featuring a premium metal build and super thin design at RM2698, the Mate S also features tech specs like a fingerprint sensor and 5.5-inch full HD display. A 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and 8MP front camera with LED flash rounds things up features-wise but Huawei have been generous enough to also include a free original flip case. The Huawei Mate S was officially launched in Malaysia for RM2698 today and is available at all major distributors and resellers. While at first we felt like it was just another smartphone launch, you really have to take a closer look at the phone firsthand for the excitement to build. Featuring a gold and coral pink coloured metal body that is both curvy and light, we felt that the Mate S feels thinner and more premium than even the Huawei P8. The Huawei Mate S made a splash at the IFA 2015 as the world's first smartphone to implement a pressure sensitive Force Touch like feature alongside various other high-end functions as well. While we did say that it was expected in September, the invites have already been sent out confirming that the Huawei Mate S will be coming to Malaysia on 27 October 2015.
