Malaysia will be imposing a new guideline on the use of micro-mobility vehicles on the road in the near future, with the gritty details currently in the works by the Transport Ministry (MOT) and other relevant entities. In fact, the Town and Country Planning Department (PLANMalaysia) has today revealed that it it will present a proposed guideline to MOT soon, with one of the proposals being a speed limit cap of 25km/h.

Today, the Ministry of Transport Malaysia just released a statement about the usage of micro-mobility vehicles. It appears that certain micro-mobility vehicles such as electric scooters are already banned on the road.
