After being teased by iQOO for a while, the iQOO 10 Series has finally been released in China with impressive specs, including 200W fast charging; making the company the first manufacturer to feature such a feat. Previously, we reported that the iQOO 10 Series is set for release this 19 July and will be sporting a few top of the line features such as the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Now, the company has revealed that the device would also be featuring 200W fast charging; the first smartphone in the world to do so.

The maximum charging power found on current commercial smartphones is 120W. Although it was impressive back in the day, it has become a mainstream feature, especially for Xiaomi devices. Now, it would be nice to see something that can spice up the smartphone charging game. According to the latest information from insiders, 2022 will be the year when we see devices with 200W fast charging, and they specifically mentioned that there should be at least two such devices.
