If you haven't been to the city, YES by YTL Communications Sdn. Bhd. just announced its first-ever one-of-its-kind YES 5G Playground in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city. From the 7th until the 31st of March 2022, the YES 5G Playground opens to the public at the Premier Terrace of Lot 10, from 10 AM to 10 PM daily. 

The Menteri Besar of Selangor, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari today confirmed that the state would be building 1553 5G network transmitters in the state this year. He further elaborated that the installations will be done in four stages.

Speaking at the Selangor State Legislative Assmebly (DUN) today, Amirudin said that the 5G network is capable of providing fast internet of up to 10Gbps with 1ms latency. The network will also benefit up to 1 million devices per square kilometre.

Following the announcement of the Malaysian government's decision to main the Single Wholesale Network (SWN) for Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB), DNB released a statement not too long after. Basically, the announcement was about DNB welcoming the decision and also encouraging telecommunications companies to subscribe for the equity stakes.
