Based on a statement made by China Mobile on Weibo on 16 March 2019, the People’s Liberation Army General Hospital, China Mobile and Huawei, has successfully conducted a remote brain surgery to treat Parkinson’s disease, which makes it the first remote surgery ever conducted on a 5G network.

OPPO has officially unveiled the 10x Lossless Zoom Technology as well as their first 5G smartphone. Aforementioned technology uses three different camera sensors, which includes a super wide-angle camera, a 48MP camera as well as a telephoto camera to achieve up to 10 times magnification. The Malaysian government will wait on the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission's report, before allowing Huawei to build their 5G infrastructure in Malaysia. Based on TheStar.com.my, the delay is due to various security concerns involving Huawei globally, including allegations of cyberspying, international scandals and so on. Communications and Multimedia Minister Gobind Singh Deo wants to play it safe, to ensure that the system is secure before rolling out.
